We have decided to fundraise for the amazing Surrey Docks Farm in SE16. The farm is one of the best free attractions for families in the South London area, but the cost of running the farm relies heavily on the support and goodwill of local residents, volunteers and donors. I know that many of my students love going to the farm and I have chosen the charity for this reason.
How we will be raising money this year:
We are asking for very small donations of £2 for each of the following items or events:
1) Downloading our 2011 e-Book of piano pieces. We have lots of tunes transcribed for very easy piano up to grade 3 including The Clash, Katy Perry & Lady Gaga. Email me if you would like a copy of the PDF book.
2) If you would like me to write down a version of your favourite song suited to your level of playing let me know the details and I will do this for you and send you a PDF of the song to print out.
3) If you attend our monthly playdates for babies and toddlers in East Dulwich, please donate £2. This is the same amount of money you would pay for a local playgroup – and you even get a yummy homemade lunch and lots of coffee thrown in too! Details of our first monthly playdate can be found here.
We hope to raise at least £100 by the end of the year, but if we do not make the target from donations, then we will be making up the rest of the target ourselves. You are, of course, welcome to donate more than £2.
Please donate more for the following services:
If you are a current piano student and you require any of the services that we offer free of charge such as reference-writing for music scholarship programs, exam accompaniment, extra lessons for audition preparation etc. then please consider donating at least £10 for references, or £25 for accompaniment including a rehearsal.

We will also be organising a special Summer charity recital to raise money for the farm. More details to come soon!
