Philharmonia Family Music Day

Take your family along to the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall for a family trip into outer space! The Philharmonia Orchestra will be blasting off on a journey through the heavens with excerpts from Gustav Holst’s The Planets and Strauss’ Also Sprach Zarathustra, e theme from 2991 Space Odyssey. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce all the fmamily to some of the highest quality musical performances. There are free pre-concert crafts and musical workshops from 10am to 11am. These are pitched to children aged 5 to 11, but babies, small children and adults will all enjoy the special family event.
