Recommended keyboard of the week for piano beginners

When starting the piano, it’s great if you have a piano, but if you don’t want to make the commitment to buying an instrument that you are not 100% sure that your child will continue with, then a keyboard is your best option.

Yamaha YPT-210 Keyboard for beginner piano students

Yamaha YPT-210 61-key ‘Portable Grand’ keyboard for beginners. £89.99.

Here’s one keyboard that a few of my new students have bought recently and been very happy with. It is made my Yamaha, the makers of my piano. It is called a ‘portable grand piano’ with the realism of a stereo grand piano. It also includes a Sustain Pedal for a realistic imitation of a piano.  For the price of £89.99, this is our recommendation for the best keyboard for beginners.
