Phoebe playing “Truman Sleeps” by Philip Glass

Phoebe is working on this piece for our Summer Concert on the 5th of June. The piece is called “Truman Sleeps” and is by Philip Glass, an American music composer born in 1937. His music appears on many film soundtracks. It has a hypnotic, eerie quality brought about by repeated rhythmic patterns. Like many modern composers, he is influenced by the rhythms of non-Western music. His major works include opera, theater pieces, dance, and song.

The new piano sounds fab 😀

    • I’ll play you some tunes on it when I see you – did we fix a time for 28 May? The day is getting a bit chocka in the studio but there is a spare hour here and there! Still on for 19 June as well!
