Unique Musical Cards & Gifts for musicians

David Barton, a piano, flute and singing teacher based in Lichfield writes this blog entry:

  • Do you find musicians hard to buy cards and presents for?
  • Would you like to get your child something musical which will be useful in their lessons?
  • Are you fed up with the same old black and white designs?
  • Have you exhausted musical ties, piano-shaped rubbers, musical mouse mats and treble clef cufflinks?

If “yes” is the answer to all these, then over at David Barton Music we may have found a solution. These musical cards (which we believe to be unique) solve all your problems by including both the card and present as one. Each card is A5 size and there are a number of musical designs to choose from; inside is printed a piece of music composed especially for these cards (it is printed on the card and isn’t a loose sheet).

There are currently eight different cards available and they each include a piece for either piano, clarinet, oboe and flute. There are also a variety of levels to choose from right from Prep Test through to around Grade 5.

You can hear a sample of each short piece here and also see four of them on YouTube.
