Gabriel Yared: C’est Le Vent Betty (from Betty Blue)

Here’s a lovely piece from the movie Betty Blue that some of our students have just started learning. You can download the sheet music instantly from Musicroom.com. The piece is about Grade 4 in level of difficulty.

Gabriel Yared is a Lebanese composer born in Beirut in 1949. He has written the soundtracks for films such as Cold Mountain, The English Patient and The Talented Mr Ripley. There is a compilation book of lots of his songs – all very similar to ‘C’est le Vent, Betty’.
