Music students hit the right note for Practice-a-thon

Last term, ten of our students took part in Practice-a-Thon and raised over £500 for CLIC Sargent. We will run this event again in September – December 2012.

Music students hit the right note for Practice-a-thon

After hearing about Practice-a-thon through the ABRSM, pupils of SE22 Piano School were invited to take part in a two week sponsored practice as part of Practice-a-thon. Congratulations to all the students who took part, including Poppy (pictured), for helping to raise £520 for CLIC Sargent! Lorraine Liyanage, music teacher at the school said “We are looking forward to taking part in this event again in December 2012. One of my colleagues was so impressed with how much we raised that she is going to get her piano students involved in Practice-a-thon this term.”
